Drums Food, founded in 2008 by Rohan Mirchandani, Milap Shah, Ganesh Krishnamurthy and Uday Thakkar, launched Epigamia Greek yogurt in 2015. The startup is best known for its Hokey Pokey brand of ice creams.
Epigamia claims to be made with all-natural ingredients using a traditional Greek straining process. Epigamia is available in more than 2,500 retail outlets, such as Godrej Nature’s Basket, Hypercity and Future Group’s Food Hall and Big Bazaar, and spans across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Surat, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Chandigarh, Srinagar, Jalandhar. It is also available on online e-commerce platforms, namely Big Basket. The startup will use the newly raised investment to launch new flavors, initiate brand-building and increase production capacity.
