Cao Zenghui, vice president of Sina Weibo, China’s largest social media, released Weibo’s latest key user data and 2016 plan on Wednesday at the V-influence Summit in Beijing, reported tech new media Newrank.
Cao disclosed that up until December this year, the number of online writers on Weibo has grown to 2.3 million, covering 47 topics. This is double the amount from the same period of last year.
The number of authors who have more than 100,000 monthly page views has reached 253,000. They tweeted 11 times per day on average, Cao added.
Top-listed authors have gained more than RMB 200 million (USD 30 million) on Weibo in the past 11 months.
Cao estimated that the incomes of online writers may exceed RMB 400 million in 2016, and the number of contract writers with Weibo will double next year.
Another downside of China Air Quality is that (as far as I know) it displays they highest out of the PM10 and PM2.5 readings, while PM2.5 is what we’re most interested in.
There is another app called Air Quality China, what about that one? I can select the US Embassy on that app (or another station, or the city average).
