HTC 10 to launch on April 12th

HTC has officially announced that the launch event of its next flagship phone, the HTC 10, will be on April 12th. The event will be streamed at 8:00 EST on HTC’s website.

According to the leaks, the metal clad HTC 10 is slightly larger than its predecessors. It adopts the Super LCD 5 screen technology for its 5.15-inch display, a 3000mAh battery compared with the previously downgraded 2840mAh battery, and the latest Snapdragon 820 processor used by both Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5.

It also added a home button with a fingerprint sensor, has 4GB of RAM with three storage options for 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, and will be introduced in four colors.

Other rumors say the HTC 10 could be waterproof and support wireless charging, a feature the HTC One M9 lacks.

Besides this, the handset is rumored to feature a 23MP camera with dual-LED flash, compared with the 20MP on the One M9. HTC’s CFO Chialin Chang promised that the new phone will offer a compelling camera experience, reported Techradar.com.
