Don’t miss our event, Tech Junction!

AllChinaTech and DayDayUp are pleased to present the third Tech Junction event on recruiting for startups on Thursday, April 7 in Beijing.

They have the perfect resume and seem to be the perfect hire, but when it comes to doing the job, your rock star recruit just can’t seem to get it right, and are a terrible fit for your company culture. A bad hiring decision can cost a company hundreds of thousands of yuan, so how do you avoid HR nightmares and find the right people to help your startup succeed? In this event, Andy Mok of Beijing Tech Hive, who helped App Annie build its team, will answer your questions about how to find the right people in China.

Speaker: Andy Mok, Founder and Managing Director of Red Pagoda

Andy Mok is an expert in helping startups flourish. Besides running the Beijing Tech Hive startup accelerator, he’s also known around town for his co-founder speed-dating sessions. Andy is also the founder of Red Pagoda Resources, a professional service firm that helps startups identify and attract the talent that powers their success. He has helped startups like Apricot Forest and App Annie build their teams.

Host: Catherine Lai, Writer at AllChinaTech

Catherine Lai is a tech writer at AllChinaTech. Originally a writer and photographer from Canada, she came to Beijing looking for a challenge. She covers green tech, lifestyle apps, and startups.

What do we do at Tech Junction?

A 30-minute Q&A with a well-known startup founder hosted monthly, each time with an appealing topic, followed by 20 minutes of open discussion with attendees and flexible networking time.
