VR game platform Zamer VR on Thursday receives USD 1.4 million for its pre-Series A round to develop more VR games and increase its investment on marketing.

Zamer VR is a VR game platform that provides users with high quality VR games based on its VR platform. Users can search, download and experience VR games, as well as manage and update games on its platform.

At present, Zamer VR is China’s largest offline VR game platform that has reached partnerships with more than 3,000 VR stores to provide VR game experience services. Its VR platform occupies over 60 percent of the market share in China’s VR game industry with more than 5,000 active platform terminals daily.

This pre-Series A financing round was led by Longling Capital. According to Zamer’s founder Wang Anzhen, the capital will be used to improve its VR game experience services at physical stores, and invest more on developing high quality VR games. Meanwhile, it wants to attract new overseas partners to introduce high quality VR games to the domestic market. At the same time, Zamer wants to promote its VR games to users all over the world.

Big data based drone platform Boonray on Friday received an undisclosed financing round in millions of USD to improve its big data technology for drones to meet customers’ demand.

Boonray is a drone platform that provides various industry solutions based on its big data technology and drones. Its solutions combines hardware, software and some other related services with drones.

The company does not develop drones itself – it focuses on secondary development of DJI drones according to its customers’ demands. Boonray uses the sensors carried by drones to collect data, and helps customers to make sound decisions based the analysis and processing of the data. Its solutions have been used in some areas including inspection of power stations, police enforcement, agricultural detection, and so on.

Founded in 2015 in Shanghai, its founding team are previously from some robotic and drone companies, and aims to integrate drones with big data technology to provide solutions for various industries.

This financing round was from NewMargin, and it plans to use this fund to improve its big data technology, and expand its drone solutions to more industries.
