BoxMySpace was founded in 2015 by Pratyush Jalan. Jalan, a Cornell university alumnus, previously worked as lead engineer at WebEngage which runs a marketing cloud platform for consumer businesses. He also worked as a software development engineer at Microsoft.
BoxMySpace is an on-demand storage platform for consumers and businesses. It provides storage options for consumers looking to rent space to hold their belongings. The startup also provides warehouse storage for businesses on a pay-per-use flexible storage model. Their services currently are operational in five locations including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi-NCR and Kolkata.
The startup will use the new capital to upgrade technology and optimize operations. The company will also strengthen the back-end infrastructure for building a network of warehouses and supporting logistics services across multiple cities.
