Mumbai-based online distributor Just Buy Live has raised USD 100 million for Series B round of financing funding from Dubai-based investment banking firm Ali Cloud Investment.

Just Buy Live was founded in 2015 by Sahil Sani and Bharat Balachandran.

Just Buy Live follows a brand-to-retail business model and empowers retailers by enabling them to buy goods directly from brands. The app can be used by all kinds of retailers, such as retail stores, supermarkets, electronic shops and many more. Retailers can get their orders delivered to their shops or warehouses and can communicate with the brand teams directly. The startup claims that the app offers over 500,000 products from 2,600 brands across categories like food, auto, fashion, sports, mobile and others.

Just Buy Live raised USD 20 million for Series A round of financing funding from Alpha Capital in January 2016.

The startup will use the newly raised funds to expand into international markets and consolidate Indian local operations.

Ezetap raises USD 16M for its mobile POS solution service

Bangalore-based mobile payments service provider Ezetap has raised USD 16 million in a funding round led by JS Capital Management. And, Salil Seshadri, the Chief Information Officer at JS Capital Management, will be joining Ezetap’s Board.

Ezetap was founded in 2011 by Abhijit Bose, Bhaktha Keshavachar and Sanjay Swamy.

Ezetap is an intelligent software-as-a-service mobile point of sale (mPOS) platform. The startup provides end-to-end smart payment solutions. It helps retailers, e-commerce players, enterprises and financial inclusion organizations.

The startup will use the newly raised funds to innovate and expand its payments platform.

Previously, Ezetap raised USD 24 million for Series C round of financing funding from The Social+Capital Partnership, Helion Advisors and other investors.

Other players in this area in India include Mswipe, ePaisa, Paynear, Mosambee, etc.
