Healthtech startup Mfine raises USD 1.5 M for undisclosed round

Bangalore-based healthtech platform, Mfine, raised USD 1.5 M in funding led by Stellaris Venture Partners. Healthcare entrepreneurs, Mayur Abhaya and Rohit MA, also participated in the round. According to the investment, Stellaris partner Ritesh Banglani has joined the company’s board.
Mfine was founded in 2017 by former Myntra executives, Ashutosh Lawania and Prasad Kompalli. Previously, Lawania co-founded Myntra and Kompalli was the chief revenue office.
Mfine enables instant and continuous connectivity between patients and doctors online. It uses a smart system to keep track of users’ health parameters and keep all of their health data. The startup also provides home services like examinations, sample collections for lab tests, and a medicine delivery service. Mfine specializes in pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics, and general physicians, among others.
The startup will use the newly raised funds to launch its app and increase hospital partnerships.
Other players in the health-tech area in India are 1mg, NetMeds, CareOnGo, and Practo, among others.
