Delhi-based co-working space brand for startups 91springboard has raised undisclosed fresh funding from Sandway Investment Ltd., Pearl Brook Holdings, AMA Holdings, Silo Holdings, and Al Nour.

91springboard was started in 2012 by a group of co-founders with financial and medical backgrounds. They include Anand Vemuri, Deepak Sharma, Pranay Gupta, Susan Lim and Varun Chawla.

91springboard is an offline co-working space and community for startups, freelancers, and business owners with a startup mindset. Members of 91springboard get access to a co-working space with 24×7 office-infrastructure support, key service providers, and networking opportunities. 91springboard also organizes mentor hours, knowledge events, workshops for their members.

Reportedly, 91springboard hosts more than 2,000 companies in its spaces, including startups like Rivigo, investors such as 500startups, pi Ventures, and Mumbai Angels, and companies like Tokopedia and CBRE.

The startup has opened spaces in many of India’s major cities, including Bangalore, Mumbai Gurgaon, Noida, and Hyderabad. Anand Vemuri, co-founder and CEO of 91springboard, said that 91springboard had grown very quickly and that their 14th hub went live this week.

The startup will use the newly raised investment to expand in existing and new markets.

Other players in this field include Innov8, CoLife, InstaOffice, The Office Pass, and Awfis.

Bangalore-based construction & interior design online marketplace Homergize has raised USD 1 million for pre-Series A funding round from LG Chandrasekhar, founder and Chairman of the medical device company Sutures India.

Homergize was founded in 2016 by Vinod R Kaushik. Kaushik holds an MBA from Berkeley and previously co-foundered SmartPlay Technologies, a design services company with expertise in digital, analog, wireless software, and system design.

Homergize is a one-stop online marketplace for design, decoration, and renovation. It brings professionals like architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and contractors onto one platform, and it provides procure supplies ranging from building materials to furnishings. The startup also strives to enhance its ecosystem by providing tools to professionals and contractors to further improve their skills.

Commenting on his company’s development, Homergize founder Vinod Kaushik said that they are committed to delivering best-in-class products at value prices through constant innovation and the creation of an ecosystem that adds value to all stakeholders including consumers, developers, designers, and professionals.

The startup will use the newly raised capital to enhance its technology, fuel expansion, and pursue new service revenue opportunities.
