Financing status: Undisclosed amount for undisclosed round in 2017
Ed-tech startup, LogiBrothers, received strategic investment from Chunjae Education. This is their second investment round after raising seed investment from The Ventures and other angel investors in June of this year. With this investment, LogiBrothers will be able to leverage Chunjae Education’s educational content and other resources. Through this, they plan to find business opportunities in the textbook and e-learning market.
Chunjae Education’s investment is not limited to simple financial investment. They also plan to exploit LogiBrother’s expertise in coding education and technological competitiveness to open the market for elementary to middle school software education.
LogiBrothers operates Logicong, which is an adaptive coding education platform that fosters the ability for convergent thinking through computational thinking methodologies. Logicong is offered online through a software learning model, and provides convergent and creative educational content both online and offline, for elementary to middle school students.
Logicong’s coding training solution is based on block language (visual language) developed by Google and verified by global IT players such as Microsoft, Apple, and MIT. The students do not need to memorize and learn the grammar or structure of a specific language in order to learn new software. It consists of animations and step-by-step tasks so that children can learn easily.
Sang-Min Noh, CEO of LogiBrothers, said, “Through Chunjae Education’s investment, we can expect to improve the quality of educational content. In the newly opened coding education market, we hope to become an industry leader”.
LogiBrothers is an Edu-Tech startup that was established to provide online and offline convergence education services that make it easy and fun for everyone to improve their computational thinking skills and solve problems on their own. The company was founded in 2016 by a team of engineers and researchers from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
