Aionco Korea, which provides beauty product sourcing and global logistics solution services, announced on October 31 that it has raised USD 2.6 million from Sejong Telecom, BA Partners and Ghost Holdings. Aionco, which was founded in 2015, has received a total of almost USD 4.1 million in investment, including seed investments from Mashup Angels and Hana Financial Investment.
Aionco offers sourcing and logistics solution services for over 2,000 beauty products to more than 600 overseas commerce companies in 55 countries. AFS Mall, which is a global distribution platform that Aionco opened in the first half of this year, has created a network of beauty merchandisers in various countries and regions, such as China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe. In only a short period of time, AFS Mall has exceeded USD 1 million in monthly sales. The company’s revenue has increased by 300% as compared with the same time last year.
Jae-Hun Jeon, CEO of Aionco, recently said: “Global online commerce through e-commerce is becoming more active all over the world. In particular, beauty products have a high transaction value in Asia, so we aim to grow Aionco’s logistics and distribution service (AFS) as a necessary solution service for overseas commerce.”
Sung-Hoon Kim, business development manager at Sejong Telecom, stated: “Aionco’s competitiveness is expected to generate a lot of synergy with the commerce business we are pursuing. We will continue to build positive relationships with talented startups.”
Furthermore, a representative of Ghost Holdings, a brand development platform that supports the growth of various lifestyle brands, said: “We will plan to create synergies with Aionco for the global expansion of our brands.”
Aionco will enhance the service functions of AFS solutions in order to enable the sourcing of beauty products from various countries. It will also work to further develop its logistics services.
