Creator market platform OGQ raises USD 2.2M to connect artists and fans on its platform

Social creator platform company, OGQ, announced on November 8 that it raised USD 2.2 million from Central Investment Partners and other investors.

Apart from Central Investment Partners, OGQ previously raised USD 71 million from Naver and Pandora TV in past investment rounds. After this round of investment, OGQ’s accumulated investment amount is approximately USD 9.5 million.

OGQ is a company that develops and operates OGQ Backgrounds (HD Backgrounds) app that reaches 120 million global downloads.

Based on key content such as global writers’ content, images, videos and stickers, OGQ will provide the content sources necessary for users writing on Naver platforms, such as home, profile, blogs, and community.

OGQ announced that users on Naver can use content sources without worrying about copyright issues.

Jang-Won Choi, Head of service operation at OGQ said, “based on this investment, we will provide a desirable and creative environment, as well as open up a new chapter in the digital content market by connecting artists and fans”.
