Computer vision tech startup Odd Concepts raises USD 2.2M from Stonebridge and Colopl Next

Odd Concepts, a startup that provides commercial tech services based on computer vision and deep learning technology, raised USD 3.2 million in accumulated investment from Stonebridge Capital and Colopl Next.

Se Hong Jang, a manager at Colopl Next recently said: “In February this year, DeepLook, a fashion recommendation engine based on deep learning technology, was commercialized. Within the past eight months its monthly internet traffic reached 90 million with two million unique users. This proved DeepLook’s technology in the market and that it has a steady technological advantage over the competitors.”

Jung Tae Kim, CEO of Odd Concepts, also mentioned: “We have been testing technical and business models that have not been tried by anyone else. Through this investment, we are pleased to be able to quickly exploit and scale up this market.”

Stonebridge Capital and Colopl Next are planning to cooperate as partners to pursue Odd Concept’s expansion in both domestic and global markets.
