Bangalore-based cloud environment solutions provider Nuvepro has raised USD 400,000 in a seed round of funding from angel investment platform 1crowd.
Nuvepro was founded in 2014 by Giridhar LV, Janakiraman Srinivasan, Umesh Bhatt, Moyukh Goswami, and Rajesh Vasudevan, all of whom previously worked at Mindtree, an Indian multinational information technology and outsourcing company.
Nuvepro is a cloud infrastructure solution provider. Its product, Nuvelink, enables enterprises to offer a vast catalogue of cloud services to end-users on a self-service model. A large catalogue of items can be sourced from diverse clouds, such as Azure, AWS, on-premise, as well as SaaS platforms such as Office 365. Nuvelink reduces the time to provision resources and gives users control to optimize costs and utilization levels. It also helps users reduce the instance of shadow IT by enabling IT teams to offer various resources to business users. The startup claims to help clients save 20% on clould utilization and increase new revenue streams and growth by 24% all the while offering 35% faster lab environment setup.
The startup will use the newly raised investment for enhancing research and development as well as expansion.
