Intelligent logistics startup, Whalehouse, received USD 15 million for Series B from Baidu on November 24 to spread its intelligent automated warehouse solutions.
Whalehouse is an intelligent logistics startup that provides electricity supplier companies, courier companies, and logistics companies with intelligent automated warehouse solutions and free upgrade services. Its automated warehouse solutions integrate automated bag check warehouses, a variety of intelligent devices, as well as cube shelves, and so on. They help related Chinese enterprises save costs on renting warehouses and labor, as well as improving operational accuracy and working efficiently.
Founded in 2012 in Shenzhen, its first automated warehouse was established in the Double 11 this year. It processed more than 70,000 packages by 65 of its employees and finished packing over 50,000 packages. It claims that its automated warehouse solutions can help its partners reduce 80% of its rent cost, as well as store eight times the number of packages in the same area if its automated solutions are adapted. Its solutions have also been applied in well-known e-commerce and logistics companies such as VIP.com, Hofan, and so on.
This new financing round was from a group of investors that include Yunfeng Capital backed by Alibaba’s JackMa, Baidu, and GSR Ventures. The capital will be used to further invest in the market expansion plans for more partners, as well as develop new automated warehouse technologies.

Medical imaging startup, Campo Imaging, received USD 15 million for Series A on November 24 to develop the artificial intelligence (AI) sector with its medical imaging technology.
The development of the third party medical imaging center originated in the U.S. over 30 years ago, and is still an emerging sector in China. The Chinese government has previously introduced policies to support its development.
Campo Imaging is a medical imaging startup that engages in the research and development, and the manufacturing of medical imaging equipment, as well as the development of third-party medical imaging centers. Its medical imaging solutions include CT, MRI, DR, ultrasound, Holter, remote consultation, and difficult case consultation, among others.
Founded in 2010 in Shenyang, Campo Imaging operates four independent medical imaging centers in Shenyang and Harbin, and will expand to more cities in China.
Campo Imaging secured this Series A financing round exclusively through Yueyin VC. The company plans to use the funds to strengthen the R&D of its medical imaging solutions, recruit scientists from all over the world, and intensively develop the artificial intelligence (AI) sector to facilitate medical imaging diagnosis.
