Delhi-based student accommodation platform Stanza Living has raised an undisclosed amount in funding, co-led by Matrix Partners and Accel.
Stanza Living was founded in 2017 by Sandeep Dalmia and Anindya Dutta. Dalmia, holder of an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, was previously principal of the Boston Consulting Group. Stanza Living is a student-focused accommodation services provider. It provides fully furnished single and twin beds rooms with attached bathrooms. It also offers meals with 24×7 high-tech security, Wi-Fi, and professional housekeeping services. Besides rooms, the startup facilitates a community for students and provides amenities like a foosball table, terrace garden, gym, library, entertainment lounge, etc. As a Stanza resident, students not only benefit from living facilities; they also receive discounts at nearby restaurants, coaching classes, and special tutorial sessions and a range of other facilities like swimming pools, fitness centers, dance classes, etc. Stanza is currently available with two houses in Delhi. One is girls only; the other is boys only.
The startup will use the newly raised investment to expand its footprint, strengthen its core technology platform, and build up the team.
