Humanscape, a healthcare startup, announced on December 7th that it had raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Magellan Technology Investment. The startup previously received seed funding from Mashup Angels.
Humanscape provides a service called Helen, which manages customer relations for small and medium-sized hospitals. Helen also offers follow-up services for patients who have undergone plastic and skin surgeries.
Patients can also make reservations through the Helen app and receive customized information regarding medicine and recovery from surgery. Recently, over 5,000 patients at dental and otolaryngology clinics received information on post-operative recovery from Helen. The app’s customer retention rate is over 70%, so patients’ loyalty and the app’s credibility are both very high.
Minhoo Jang, CEO of Humanscape, stated: “Doctors at local small and medium-sized hospitals suffer with marketing, pressure from patients, and low medical charges. Helen helps them solve many problems through technology. It also improves the administrative issues that hospitals have trouble dealing with.”
Humanscape plans to launch improved marketing solutions for small local hospitals with this funding.
