Apple products continue to top the bestselling lists of major retailers in US Black Friday sales.

Compared to China’s Black Friday or Singles Day, 2.4 iPhones were sold every second on Alibaba-backed e-commerce giant Tmall.

According to Adobe, the five bestselling products on Black Friday were Samsung 4K TVs, the Apple iPad Air 2, the Microsoft Xbox One, the Apple iPad Mini, and the Sony PS4.

Overall, the role of tablets in driving sales continued to decline, according to Adobe. Tablets drove 15% of Black Friday sales, a 2% drop compared to last year. However, Apple iPads were top-selling products at Target in-store and online, with one being sold every second on Thanksgiving Day, according to Target. Apple Watches were also popular in Target stores. Adobe also said that iPhones and iPads drove the majority of mobile sales, with 67% and 84% sold on mobile devices respectively.

Over on eBay, the iPhone 6S was the best-selling item after gift cards, with one being sold every six seconds on Thanksgiving.

As CNBC analysts suggested, Apple opted out of promoting Black Friday sales this year, but it seems that retailers are doing the work for them. Target, for example, offered gift cards with the purchase of iPads and Apple Watches.

Overall, during Thanksgiving and Black Friday, total revenue from online sales reached USD 4.47 billion, up 18 percent from last year, according to Adobe.

In China, on Singles Day, November 11, Apple ranked fourth on Tmall for the most smartphones sold, behind domestic brands Huawei, Meizu and Xiaomi. But in general, Apple sales are dropping in China.

Chinese e-commerce giant T-mall was the winner on China’s Black Friday. It set a world record for overall transactions with RMB 91.2 billion (USD 14.3 billion).

T-mall claimed that RMB 62.6 billion of its revenue came from offline transactions, amounting to 68.67% of overall transactions. It took T-mall less than 12 hours to break its 2014 record of RMB 57.1 billion.
