He was also the founder & director of Carpediem Capital Partners, an India-focused private equity company.
Biryani By Kilo is an app-based, Indian Biryani-focused food ordering and delivery startup. Biryani is a popular Indian rice dish. Users can order biryani delivery in a variety of types such as Hyderabadi (Kutchi), Lucknowi (Pukki), and Kolkata style — all prepared in individual earthenware containers.
Earlier in February, Biryani By Kilo raised around USD 380,000 in angel funding from a clutch of investors.
The startup will reportedly use the investment to expand within India’s domestic market.
