Car rental startup Car Flat raised USD 10M from Cognitive Investment

Flat, the company that the runs car rental service, ‘Car Flat’, raised USD 10M from Cognitive Investment.

‘Car Flat’ is a service that delivers rental cars to your door when the user selects the desired date, the pickup and return location, and makes a payment. It provides an intuitive and convenient user interface, just like online shopping. Most of the cars are provided through collaboration with other car rental companies.

Also, Car Flat operates an offline store for car rentals and they are getting positive feedback from users as they apply the know-how gained through operating this offline store.

Through this investment round, Flat will continue to develop services that are tailored for the fast-changing car sector.

In addition to its short-term car rental service, the company plans to complete the full-scale car rental platform by launching a mid- to long-term car rental service, which is currently in beta service. Eric Park, investment Manager at Cognitive Investment, said, “We are very impressed with the fast growth of this service and the team’s ability to execute. In the future, we believe that this service will become a lifestyle platform for cars”.
