Healthcare service aggregator Click2Clinic has raised USD 850,000 in a seed funding round from a group of angel investors.
Hyderabad-based Click2Clinic was founded in 2016 by Dr. Sujeeth R. Punnam and Dr. Murali Bharadwaj.
Click2Clinic is an app-based medical consultation company that aggregates hospitals, individual clinics, diagnostics, pharmacies, ambulance services and allied health services. Click2Clinic offers services such as doctor consultations over video or at home, delivery of diagnostic tests and medications to the patient’s home, nursing and physiotherapy at home and so on. The startup claims to have 150,000 licensed medical consultants and 700,000 general practitioner physicians who have, together, served 1 billion patients.
The startup’s health-radar app offers a payment gateway and a five-minute teleconsultation appointment booking feature as well.
Vivek Reddy, chief operating officer of Click2Clinic, said that the startup will continue to grow both organically and inorganically, and that they expect to enter 10 new cities in the next year.
The startup will use the investment to strengthen its product offerings and expand its services to new markets.
Some players in this area in India include the doctor-consultation platform Docwise, the tele-consultation platform Konsult App, and an online aggregator of organized and unorganized pathology labs Klinic App.
