High-efficiency is the goal of many industries, which ask themselves what they can do to achieve high efficiency in their work. One solution is to automate some processes with robots, artificial intelligence, and big data-related technology. With the help of robots, we can save time on tedious work and free-up time for innovation. Over the past few months, robotics investment trends have focused on service, education, and logistics-related industries. Today, a new robotics company has secured financial support from the tech giant, Tencent, in China.

Leju Robotics is an intelligent humanoid robot company that focuses on the research and development as well as the marketing and manufacturing of robots. Its robotics business also integrates human-machine interaction and convergence. Its robots are mainly designed for the education and service industries.

Its educational robot, Aelos, is targeted at children and tech-enthusiasts for entertainment and programmed learning. It is equipped with structural design and rigorous step algorithm planning, which enables it to do tens of thousands of delicate actions. Meanwhile, it has chat, simultaneous interpretation, voice search, voice repeat, voice command, and other intelligent voice functions. Additionally, Aelos can work with users on yoga, jumping, gymnastics, and other difficult actions. Currently, Leju Robotics mainly earns revenue from the development and manufacturing of Aelos, though it is also invested in the research and development of robots for the service industry for future development.

Founded in 2016 in Shenzhen, it landed angel round financing from Green Pine Capital Partners, and most recently from Tencent. The capital will be used to develop and manufacture new products and invest in market expansion. Additionally, Leju Robotics will work with Tencent to promote its educational robots to schools and other educational institutions.
