China’s largest classfieds service platform 58.com released its car news website 58che.com in Beijing on Sunday.
58che.com mainly provides marketing solutions related to cars. It will also provide information about driving lessons, car rentals, new and second-hand car purchases, and cleaning services, among other things.
Michael Jinbo Yao, the co-CEO of 58.com, said that the new car service platform will strengthen and improve its automotive services ecosystem and help 58.com form a closed circuit of car services for car dealers and consumers.
He added that they will make 58che.com a car service platform that also provides car-related news in two to three years.
58.com plans to provide data and reports to car dealers and consumers by integrating the big data on its platform. Thus, consumers will be able to get daily news about cars and car services, and car dealers can tailor their services to the market.
58che.com has signed strategic agreements with car trading center Beijing Automobile Market and the China Automobile Dealers Association to work towards its goal of being a leading car service and information provider.
Last August, 58.com acquired Xgo.com.cn., an advertising platform for auto manufacturers and dealerships, which provides independent content to automobile buyers and owners in China. This benefits 58.com because Xgo has already capitalized on the large market for online automobile marketing.
