Brick2wall, an online marketplace for sourcing construction materials and construction-related services, has raised USD 200,000 from multiple investors for their angel round. Participating investors include Sundeep Sahni, Founder of Lazada, Simon Hill, Founder of Wazoku, Mayank Mittal and a few other high net-worth individuals.
Brick2wall was founded in 2016 by brothers Nishant and Shashank Garg. Nishant, an INSEAD and IIT alumnus, previously served as Co-Founder & CEO of Manyaa Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. Shashank previously served as Co-Founder & COO of Manyaa Hotels & Resorts.
The Delhi-based startup caters to new-building developers and renovation-material consumers in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. The platform offers building materials such as cement, bricks, tiles, plumbing materials, sanitary-ware, electrical and etc. The startup claims to provide more than 30,000 products from over 100 brands with a zero-percent return rate and a 100% returning-customer base.
The startup will use the newly raised investment to upgrade their technology, acquire more customers and develop new business lines in Delhi NCR (National Capital Territory of Delhi). The startup will also be launching a mobile app soon.
Other players in this field are Moglix, Delhi-based Supplified, Bengaluru-based BuildTraders and etc.
