Logistics startup Truxapp raises USD 3.1 million for pre-Series A

Truxapp, founded by Yebhi.com co-founder Manmohan Agarwal, raised USD 3.1 million for pre-Series A funding round from a group of investors.

The investors include the family of Videocon Industries’ chairman Venugopal Dhoot; Ajay Bhatia, managing director of UAE-based Bhatia Brothers LLC; the family of Ganpat Singhvi, group advisor and director of UAE-based Al Nasser Holdings LLC; and others.

Truxapp was founded in 2015 by Manmohan Agarwal, who previously co-founded e-commerce platform Yebhi.com. Other co-founders of Truxapp include Dhruv Khandelwal, Sharad Pratap Singh and Naseer Ahmed.

Truxapp is a tech-based logistics company with a mobile app component. It provides in-road freight transport and logistic services form inter-city to intra-city, from long haul to last mile delivery. The startup provides tools for freight real-time tracking, freight security, vehicle punctuality, customized reporting and real-time alerts.

Dhruv Khandelwal, co-founder & operations head of Truxapp, said that “Truxapp has 226,000 trucks on its platform with a presence in 150 cities”.

Other players in this area include VDeliver, Delhivery, 4tigo Network Logistics, etc.
